In this class we will put various watercolor techniques and color theory into practice to develop your painting and color mixing skills. Through demonstration, discussion, and fun practice projects you will develop your watercolor technique and color mixing skills to help you achieve intentional results with this versatile medium. We will explore various styles of watercolor painting and put essential techniques into practice through a variety of in-class exercises and studies. Homework will be assigned to reinforce classroom content and accelerate the learning process. This class is suitable for students continuing from previous SSAC Water/Color Essentials sessions or those with some prior watercolor experience.
